A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Amanda, a licensed therapist with seven years of experience helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, and the challenges of being human. My practice is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that healing happens when we learn to meet ourselves—fully, honestly, and without judgment.
I'm intentional about running a practice that reflects my values. Keeping a smaller caseload allows me to focus deeply on each client, offering truly personalized attention and creating a space for genuine connection, reflection, and transformation. I partner with Alma and Thrizer for insurance purposes, but beyond that, it’s just me working with you directly to explore your experience, discover your strengths, and grow into the life you want.
Originally from Arkansas, I now live a somewhat nomadic lifestyle, working from wherever I’ve landed. My southern accent occasionally surprises my New England clients, often earning a laugh or a lighthearted moment in session. I’m also a mother and share my space with two curious cats who occasionally make a cameo on screen.
My style is relaxed, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I integrate mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic awareness, and EMDR when appropriate. I view therapy as a shared exploration where emotional triggers are invitations for understanding, not signs of weakness.
While my work is grounded in evidence-based practices, it’s also gently informed by spirituality and a belief in the mind–body connection that our inner world shapes our outer experience.
Above all, I want therapy with me to feel safe, human, and empowering. My hope is that you leave each session feeling a little more connected to yourself, your truth, and your capacity to create change.
